Poem Title: Bridges
Unselfishly, I lay my bruised and beaten body down securing a gap which separates a clear transit from land to land
The bridge that others burned down with their own hands
My body is filling the gaps
connecting like a bridge land to land
Those who walk across and trample on me
A path
I'm sturdy!
I am the succession to many a people's dreams
yet!
I am slowly perishing
Little Life and sparce breaths
My own dreams squeezed
By the weight of others
Sometimes unbearable
It's heavy!
Loving others
Doesn't go well for me
